Trees and Landscapes

I love walking around the North East, taking photos and painting the views. For me walking, especially around trees, helps you escape from the pressures of everyday life, a chance to be in your own head and free. My photos and paintings depict the idea that we don’t just see the small view in front of us but take in a whole, wide image which maybe distorted and broken but we make sense of it in our mind to form our own unique landscape.
